With a rich history dating back to the 1920s, the journey of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal and Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya has left a profound impact on society, particularly in the realm of holistic education.
Vijaya Performing Arts is an extension of this legacy, aiming to make performing arts accessible to all. We firmly believe that providing the right exposure at the right time can make a world of difference in nurturing talent.
Our primary objective is to shine a spotlight on individuals from humble backgrounds and empower them to build a future in performing arts. Starting with short courses in Bharatanatyam, Kalaripayattu, Kuchipudi, Voice over and Theater, we offer students the opportunity to explore various art forms and expand their artistic horizons.
At our state-of-the-art studio space, equipped with top-notch sound, lighting, and stage facilities, we provide students with a platform to showcase their talents and perform with confidence.

Traditional Kalaripayattu Exponent Contemporary Dance & Theatre Explorer
HOD
A trained martial artiste in Kalaripayattu, under the guidance of Guru Shri Satyen from CVN Kalari, Trivandrum, and learning Nadana Bhushanam from Swathi Thirunal College of Music, he is a Bharatnatyam exponent trained under Guru Smt Maheshwari Nagarajana from Nritya Kala Kendra, Ahmedabad. For close to three decades now, D Padmakumar has performed extensively in countries including Australia, China, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Kirgizstan, Scotland, Singapore, Taiwan, among many others, a process that only bettered his art of observation, exploration and performance. With most of his years spent in the culturally rich Gujarat, Pappan believes home is where his heart, and art.

Kalaripayattu has helped me discover new paradigms of my body - Being a Kathak dancer, I struggled with stamina. This Martial arts form has helped me develop core strength and stamina with the help of which I am able to perform much better and with agility in my Kathak practice as well - I am extremely grateful to Pappan sir for guiding, inspiring, and supporting me all throughout my journey.
When I experienced Kucchipudi workshop I realised how beautiful this Indian art form is. Special thanks to Mrs. Bijal because she held me throughout the workshop. Her outlook was not to teach for the sake of it in a 5 day workshop, rather she wanted to touch the basics and clear it out for everyone. I am so grateful for this opportunity
The voiceover workshop was mind blowing. As an artist, I did not know the important of voice while performing. Suraj sir imparted his knowledge and pushed me to keep trying till I figure out a style I could excel in. The exercises and knowledge really helped me. I can not wait to attend the next workshop
